  • The Glass Muller is used for grinding pigment and dispersing the pigment into an oil or water base. It is used on an even grinding surface such as glass or marble. The base of the Muller is ground perfectly flat and has a fine tooth surface that is ideal for grinding pigment.
  • The Muller is designed to mix paint pigments thoroughly with whatever base the artist chooses to use.
  • Small Muller has a 2" base, 3" height, 7oz. weight. This Muller is used for small quantity pigment mixing. It is a favorite of artists and musical instrument makers. Violin makers use them for mixing oil and water stains into varnish and shellacs.
  • Medium Muller has a 3" base, 5" height, 18 oz. weight. The Medium Muller is ideal for mixing tempera paints and for many others.
  • Large Muller has a 4" base, 6" ht.  40 oz. weight.  The Large Muller is used for mixing any pigment or stain in a larger quantity
